Weekly Drawing – Cure Tooth Decay

Most people moan about Mondays – The weekend fun is over – back to the grind. That’s why every Monday in the month of August, I’m hosting a drawing to give away Holistic Kid prizes!

This month’s theme is building your Real Food Library – Nourishing Traditions, Wild Fermentation, Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, Cure Tooth Decay, and Gut and Psychology Syndrome. Each week will be a different book, and if you win a book you already have, you can pick the one you want. If you are lucky enough to own all these books, you can send me your wish list!

This week’s prize is Cure Tooth Decay by Ramiel Nagel. I know what you (and your dentist) are thinking – You can’t “cure” tooth decay – once a pearly white is rotting you’re basically destined for a filling, right? Well, Nagel puts across a pretty convincing argument that cavities can be prevented and even reversed with the right foods. And while sugar certainly doesn’t help matters, it’s more our nutrient deficient diets (dangerously low in fat-soluble vitamins) that are leading down the road of dental decay. If you have major dental issues or just a couple of cavities – in fact – if you have teeth or children that do, enter to win this book – you’re chompers will thank you.
